F A K E
A hard-edged record about trust, loyalty, and the people who reveal themselves when the mask slips.
WHEN EVERY FACE FEELS LIKE A MASK.
Fake finds Dame Will turning frustration into a direct statement about trust. Built around sharp writing and a hard-hitting beat, the track looks past surface-level relationships and focuses on what happens when loyalty starts to feel uncertain.
The record carries an unapologetic edge, but the tension underneath it is personal. Suspicion, betrayal, and the pressure of never knowing who is genuine give the track weight beyond its energy.
IT ISN'T JUST WHO SWITCHES UP.IT'S WHAT IT COSTS TO NOTICE.
That contrast is what gives Fake its identity. It can sit comfortably in a high-energy playlist, while still asking listeners to think about the people around them and the value of staying authentic when everything else feels performative.
Dame Will keeps the message simple: protect what is real, recognize what is not, and do not let someone else's lack of loyalty rewrite your own standards.
